Just got back to Paris after such a wild summer. I only brought my Olympus OM-1 with me in India which was quite a new challenge. The task was difficult, the result is stunning.

For those who want to know what we did, actually we haven't respected what was first planned. The heat was muggy and the poverty clairly visible. We fled in the mountains after two weeks spent in Hindustan.

Week 1: Uttar Pradesh - one of the poorest states of India
Week 2: Benaras - where we were enough lucky to be hosted by the "Kautilya Society"
Week 3/4: Ladakh - also known as "Little Tibet"
Week 5: Kashmir - where we lived on an houseboat near the Pakistani border
Week 6: Uttaranchal - the Ganga springs
