Ladakh, Cham Trek path & Tso Moriri

January and February are busy months for posting shots, I haven't taken of them this winter. I don't know what could I show you. We are on the verge of booking our flights to Uzbekistan. We are not sure about our itinerary yet. It would end up either in Tajikistan or Kyrgyzstan. 

Rishikesh, Uttarakhand - India

New year, new internship. I just started to work at Films Distribution. In the meantime, I wanted to wish you all the best to all of you for 2012. Happy new year and thank you again for reading and following me.

Pilgrims in Haridwar, Uttarakhand

We stayed less than 24 hours in Haridwar. After three weeks spent in Ladakh, it was too big of a culture shock. Unfortunately due to the monsoon and the climate conditions, we couldn't go on a trek to Ganga sources. On our last week of trip, we finally headed up to Rishikesh and Mussoorie. 

I dived into my Russia photographs taken two years ago, since we are thinking about Uzbekistan/Kyrgyzstan for our upcoming summer trip. I know, this will be totally different. Anyway, merry christmas to all of you. I'll be traveling next week in the most exotic destination ever: la Lorraine! 

Last august, Signe took me to have dinner at Ungdomshuset, a squat runned by punk people in Norrebro. Inside the squat, everything looks totally destroyed but the kitchen is closed to best restaurant sanitation codes. On thursdays, they serve almost free and healthy food (20 DKK). I've got similar tips to get almost free food in Copenhagen. Do not hesitate to contact me for more infos.

Baby trek, step 1: Yangthang. True story, we became extras in a Ladakhi TV show shot in this village.

The day I took the second snapshot, from the same viewpoint I was also lucky enough to discover a disemboweled body lying inside a trunk. This was a priceless India token from Madyah Pradesh. 

Benaras, India

Again, if by any chance you head to Benaras, you must stop by Ram Bhawan, the headquarters of Kautilya Society. This is the best place ever to deeply discover what surrounds you and to meet amazing people. It was by far our favorite stepover in India. 

Sofie & Signe @ Nimis, Ladonia

We dedicated a whole day to go looking for the independent nation of Ladonia located in Skåne - Sweden. One round-trip bike, one train ride, one ferry ride and two bus ride were needed to finally get into Ladonia. Since Ladonia is not officially recognized - it doesn't appear on maps, the exploration was completed by 3-hour walk. Normally, it only takes half an hour from the nearest village. Well, now we know the fastest path, you've got no excuse if you come over Skåne!
